Great news on two fronts! First: Menus and Memories is now on a Kindle version, so can be read anywhere. Second; I was honored to produce the entry for "Sikh-American Food" for The Oxford Encyclopedia for Food and Drink in America (2nd ed) which won both International Association of Culinary Professionals category for Beverage/Reference/Technical category, 2014; and the Gourmand Award for the Best Food Book of the Year, 2014. Wow! Congrats to editor Andrew F. Smith, the famous food historian who also wrote a wonderful review of Menus and Memories. His blurb graces the back cover of the book. "Sidhu had dipped into--and helped preserve-- arch culinary tradition that extends back hundreds of years." Thanks, Andy!
